Tomorrowland, an essential experience for any electro-dance-lover or human of the world, proves itself to be as diverse as it is massive, pulling in more nationalities than the Olympics, around 200 of the 360,000 fans who attend, so colossal that it has its own currency. Part of the appeal that brings fans from across the planet to Boom is the effort put into every detail, with a small squadron of artists going to work on every stage, bench and tree and each year since 2009 having a theme, all as imaginative and abstract as ‘The Arising of Life’ or ‘The Book of Wisdom’ and even, as fans often believe to be true of the festival, ‘The Key to Happiness’.

The Music is an eclectic mix of every form of electronic and dance in the books, boasting ‘something for everyone’ and some of the biggest names, including past acts like Faithless, David Guetta, Afrojack and Martin Garrix.

A City Within a Festival Within a Town: Cityception at DreamVille

With such an enormous turnout it’s no surprise that a micro city forms within Tomorrowland, but the amount of amenities within the DreamVille campsite is something else. DreamVille is occupied by 38,000 campers set to the music of their own radio station which kicks everything off a day earlier than the main event. It also has a range of tents already set up, from 12 person mansion tents right down to the still fairly interesting 2 person ones + a couple of clothing stores, a supermarket, butchers and bakery, all near the city witin a festival within a booming town in Boom.
