Temperature: 13 to 23 °C

Austin weather in March is warm to hot with lots of sunshine and humidity. In spring temperatures can fluctuate from nightly lows that may dip down to 10°C and daytime highs that can go up to about 25°C. Since SXSW is primarily held indoors at the Austin Convention Center, and other venues throughout the city, weather is not a major issue. However, getting from one venue to another may require lots of walking (or cycling using Austin’s B-cycle system) so be sure to prepare by packing comfy walking shoes.
