FIB Benicassim: Sea, Sun & Sound

Every July since 1995, Festival Internacional de Benicàssim, FiberFib or FIB, beats for 4 days with pop-rock-electro-dance rhythms at the Recinto de Concierto in Benicassim, between the sun-filled Mediterranean beaches of the Costa del Azahar and Desierto de Las Palmas in Valencia, situated about an hour form Valencia city. It isn’t amongst the largest European festivals, but a popular summer beach event and music festival that’s not dedicated to Spanish music or culture. FIB, especially loved by UK and northern European sun seekers, has annually enticed 30,000 - 50,000 partiers to indulge in sexy sea, sun & sound in Spain, gaining fame for headlining acts such as Leonard Cohen, Depeche Mode, Primal Scream, Arctic Monkeys and Kings of Leon.

About

FIB Benicassim: Sea, Sun & Sound

Over two decades of sexy sea, sun & sound from the open-air stages at the Recinto de Concierto at the Festival Internacional de Benicàssim (FIB) has placed the town of Benicàssim (Castellón province in Spain’s Valencian community) on the European fest-circuit. Each July, FIB (FiberFib) entices 30,000 - 50,000 sun-seeking beach-partiers and pop-rock-electro-dance music-lovers from the UK & northern Europe to animate the sun-drenched Mediterranean beaches along the Costa del Azahar (and peculiar sandstone formations of Desierto de Las Palmas) about 90 km from Valencia city.

FIB is NOT about Spanish culture. It’s 4 beachy-sandy-wild party days (extending to a week or more with camping) for bopping to music, attending theatre, screening films, browsing art, strutting fashion, shopping, tanning, swimming, fiestaing, siestaing and savouring seafood paellas & mojitos amidst imported non-Spanish sounds that beat day & night!

Humbug-ing & Hallelujah-ing at FiberFib Benicassim

Benicassim FiberFib stages are no strangers to musical greats like Primal Scream, Depeche Mode, Franz Ferdinand, Radiohead, Oasis, Morrissey, The Cure, Kings of Leon, The Prodigy, David Guetta, Humbug-ing Arctic Monkeys and Hallelujah-ing Leonard Cohen.

With 4 days of music, blue skies, sunshine, sea, sand, mountains, guys & gals in bikinis, plus 8 days of camping, Fiber Fib Benicassim is an event for YOLO lists.

FIB Benicassim has Sea, Sun, Sand & a Sexy line-up of pop-rock-electro musicians!
