Getting to Electric Elephant

Tisno is on the island of Murter along the Dalmatian coast of the Adriatic Sea.

  • Tisno Town is about 2 km from the Garden Tisno festival site.
  • Croatian trains are not a good travel option.
  • Buses are much better.

It’s dusk till dawn dancing, beach bashes & floating boat parties that set sail twice a day with fully stocked bars, state-of-the-art sound systems and the hottest DJs & club promoters. Boat parties are one of the highlights of Electric Elephant Festival - they’re clubbing while floating; gyrating bodies & throbbing rhythms with cocktails and evening sunsets aboard the Argonaughty. Electric Elephant Features

Garden Tisno Festival Site

  • The location sets the tone. It’s Dalmatia Croatia (just had to say that) at The Garden Tisno - a well-established site on a private bay along the Adriatic Coast just minutes from the quaint town of Tisno.
  • Since the site opened with the original Tisno Festival (The Garden Festival) back in 2006, several offshoot events have bosomed including Soundwave, SunceBeat, Stop Making Sense and Electric Elephant, and they all use the same festival grounds, beach stage, Barbarellas Discotheque and the on-site apartments and boutique camping zones.
  • The festival bay is on the mainland, separated from Murter island and Tisno town by a 20 meter canal, but connected via a bridge.
  • Tisno town is small, with a population of about 3,000, but with quaint restaurants, bars and cafes, as well as banks, internet access and a few more accommodation options for festival-goers who choose not to stay on-site at Garden Tisno.

Electric Elephant Boat Parties

  • Electric Elephant boat party sailboat is the Argonaughty.
  • Party boats sail twice a day, packed with music-loving revellers, famous club promoting DJs, booming sound systems and a fully stocked bar!
  • Everyday during 5 days, the afternoon party boat sets sail at 2pm and returns at 6pm.
  • Evening boat parties depart at 7pm and rocks the Adriatic until 11pm.
  • Floating clubs cruise the Adriatic Coast and dock at the bay where the festival is held.
  • Boat party tickets are not included in the basic ticket price, and they sell-out really fast.

DJs & Live Acts

  • The music is eclectic, albeit mostly electronic, with a few live acts that intersperse DJ sets on two open-air stages and at Barbarellas Discotheque.
  • The creators of the festival say that Electric Elephant “invokes the original spirit of Ibiza of the seventies and early eighties” which means you’ll hear retro disco, nu-disco, rhythmic Balearic mixes, techno, house, and dance music with a touch of jazzy soul.

Lounging under Croatian Sun

  • Electric Elephant is about clubbing and crazy-fun boat party mayhem, but it’s also a laidback way to visit Croatia for five days to lounge in the sun, swim or float in the Adriatic sea, and relax with excellent music surrounded by like-minded people.
  • For festival-goers who choose to stay at the on-site apartments, there’s no need to stress over travelling to and from the grounds, just roll out of bed onto a sunny terrace and walk to the beach and the heart of the action.

Luxury Accommodation at Garden Tisno

  • Electric Elephant festival-goers can stay on-site at the apartments (that come with air-con) or in one of the chic Shikar tents that come with (no air-conditioning but fans), proper beds with mosquito nets, a dressing room and a funky porch with table and chairs.
  • Guests who fancy sleeping in a pod must make reservations with the UK Podpad people who set up their colourful units on-site.
